CT University inks pact with CII
Ludhiana, March 5, 2019: CT University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Institute of Logistics, New Delhi for industry ready course named Logistics and Supply Chain Industry Support. On behalf of CII, the MoU was signed with Executive Director and Head, CII Institute of Logistics K.V.Mahidhar. The duration of this course is two years, taking 30 intakes with graduation from any discipline having minimum of 50%. KV Mahidhar, while signing the MoU said, “We believe that this agreement will go a long way in order to provide knowledge to the students about Logistics and Supply Chain. There are lot of opportunities for jobs and becoming an entrepreneur after this course. This undoubtedly is a fruitful activity. A developed globalised Logistics and Supply Chain Management System is also vital for the success of the Government of India. By producing world class professionals, the University will contribute a lot.” Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti said that the idea behind the tie up is to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Furthermore, large scale companies will be able to tie up with the right academic institutions and provide necessary input for them to tailor their academic programmes, he added.
