CT University in collaboration with Punjab Police organized Anti-Drug Awareness Road show at Ludhiana aims to curb the drug menace amongst the youngsters. As a part of the drive, Gurpreet Singh ACP Traffic Ludhiana and Anurag Paul, State Joint Secretary Aam Aadmi appraised the students regarding the harmful effects of drugs and educated them to become responsible citizens of our country. Ludhiana, March 3, 2023: CT University in collaboration with Punjab Police organized Anti-Drug Awareness Road show at Ludhiana aims to curb the drug menace amongst the youngsters. As a part of the drive, Gurpreet Singh ACP Traffic Ludhiana and Anurag Paul, State Joint Secretary Aam Aadmi appraised the students regarding the harmful effects of drugs and educated them to become responsible citizens of our country. Students spread awareness through posters.


The show started from Baba than Singh Chownk and ended at the Samrala Chownk. Students spread awareness through posters.


Gurpreet Singh ACP Traffic Ludhiana said, “The talented youth are a valuable asset of our country and it is our collective duty to aware them and make them responsible citizens of our country.” He explained about the harmful effects of drugs and encouraged to restrain them and desist from indulging in acts that will lead to drug abuse.


Anurag Paul, State Joint Secretary Aam Aadmi Party Punjab and a Social Activist, said, “Through the youth we are spreading the message to their parents, siblings and friends. We all need to introspect collectively and act responsibly. Our aim was to sensitise residents of on the dangers of drug abuse and the need to stay away from drugs.”


CT University’s Vice Chancellor (off.) Dr. Satish Kumar appreciated the effort of the police and students and said, “Let’s unite together and Make our state ‘Drug free’” On this occasion CT University’s Vice Chancellor (off.) Dr. Satish Kumar; Davinder Singh, Deputy Director Student Welfare; students from school of law were present.
