Ludhiana April 5, 2023 : CT University in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra organised District Level Neighbourhood Youth Parliament to mark India’s G20 Presidency.  


The Youth Parliament discussed India’s G20 Presidency and the Y-20 summit. A series of cultural programmes were also arranged on the occasion.

Addressing the young leaders, Rashmeet Kaur, District youth officer, NYKS, spoke about the National Young Leaders Programme. She said the programme aimed at enabling young people to express their visions and ideas. Karam jit singh grewal National award winner and govt. teacher, Gurwinder Singh, Principal and Motivational speaker motivated the students.


Young participants spoke and gave their views followed by cultural performances by students. Er. Davinder singh, Deputy Director, Department of Student Welfare appreciated the initiative by Nehru Yuva Kendra and called for regularly organising such programs for information dissemination.


More than 400 students attended the session. Later, discussions were held on pertinent topics like International Year of Millets (IYoM) – 2023, employment opportunities in industry, youth engagement etc.


On this occasion, CT University’s Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Er. Davinder singh, Deputy Director, Department of Student Welfare, Dr. Simran, Principal, School of Law, Karam jit singh grewal national award winner and govt. teacher, Gurwinder Singh, Principal and Motivational speaker, faculty and students were present.
