CT University holds 2-week long training on MS Office for police officials

Ludhiana: CT University, Ludhiana organised a 2-week long training session for Punjab Police Officials on MS Office in two batches and were trained by CT University experts. For the training, the experts remained Pankaj Sharma, IT Manager; Jastinderpal Singh, MIS Executive; Jaskaran Singh, Network Administration and P. Prashant, Assistant Professor, Computer Applications.
The session held with full precautionary measures in which officials were wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and the labs were properly sanitised.
The training programme was based on discussing about the basics about MS office and it’s usage in the career. The hands on training was given on MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, basics to advance level training, computer fundamentals and other major topics.
Jastinderpal Singh, one of the trainers said, “The training also included knowledge about hardware component of the system unit for example RAM, different storage devices, mother board etc. Moreover, the basics were made clear as they can be helpful for the daily life of police officials.”
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU appreciated the efforts of his team by training the police officials as it’s a big achievement for them.
