CT University conducts workshop on Mocktail preparation
Ludhiana, January 18, 2019: School of Hotel Management, CT University organized a workshop on Mocktails preparation for the students. In this workshop, students learned the basics of beverages and mocktails. They also tried their hands on mocktail preparations. Head of School, Dr. Amit Kumar told that the practical exposure is an integral part of the curriculum for the students. Such workshops give students a firsthand experience to the students. Such workshops motivate the students to develop an interest in various aspects of hospitality industry and also help them to choose their career in various disciplines with in the Hospitality Sector. Moreover, the students were given a demonstration on preparing various types of mocktails. One of the students, Kamaljeet Khangura, studying BHM&CT, said, “The workshop provided us an in depth knowledge about preparation of mocktails and even we ourselves got a chance to prepare some mocktails. The overall experience was learning and knowledgeable as well.” Elaborating further, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said that the professional course of BHM&CT emphasis adequate working knowledge and skills in candidate to do well in hospitality sector and airlines sector. Such workshops are regularly organised in the University based on the need of the courses.
