CT Public School wins 7th Sardarni Manjit Kaur Memorial Cricket Tournament

Jalandhar: Defending their winning title, CT Public School has once again proved their mettle and has won the Champions trophy of the Sardarni Manjit Kaur Memorial Cricket Tournament for the seventh consecutive year. The runners-up trophy was won by St. Stephens School, Chandigarh in the seventh season of this five days tournament organized by CT Public School at the Shahpur Campus of CT Group of Institutions.  
The trophy of Man of the Match and Man of the Series was won by Kartik Chaddha from CT Public School, Best Bowler by Kartik Walia, Best Wicketkeeper Aryan Shukla and Best Batsman by Gurleen Singh.
In the final match, CT Public School won the toss and chose to bat first. The team scored 191 runs in 20 overs while opponent team St. Stephens School managed to score 123 runs, all out.
Chairman, CT Group of Institutions Charanjit S Channi, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Principal of CT Public School Daljeet Rana and Vikas Chaddha, HOD Sports were present during the final match. The dignitaries felicitated the winners, best performers in different aspects and runners-up team of the tournament.
The closing ceremony had March past by the participating team, Salutation, final events & Medal ceremony.
Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions congratulated the winners and performers of the tournament. He also thanked the participating teams for their remarkable performances during the tournament.
