CT Public School students commemorate Lohri

Jalandhar, January 12, 2019: The festival of Lohri was celebrated at CT Public School with a lot of exuberance and fervour. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. The celebration started with speeches in English and Punjabi highlighting the importance of Lohri, that ushers in the cheerful spring season bidding adieu to the dull winter. The students dressed in traditional Punjabi attire sang songs and danced around the bonfire. They took part in the celebrations enthusiastically getting immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab. Vice Principal Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated everyone and encouraged students to value their cultural heritage.
