CT Group to hold free cataract surgery camp on July 27

Jalandhar, July 25, 2022: CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is going to organise a free eye screening camp and 150 cataract surgeries in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana on July 27, 2022 at its Shahpur Campus. 

This is the 3rd free cataract surgery camp since year 2021 by CT Group towards its aim to provide community eye care to masses. 

A total of 400+ patients are expected to be screened for eye diseases in the rural areas of Shahpur & nearby by a team of ophthalmologists from Sankara Eye Hospital towards its joint initiative with CT Group of Institutes to have 100 Cataract Backlog Free Villages by Dec, 2022.

Operations for the selected patients will be conducted at Sankara Eye Hospital at its Ludhiana Unit on subsequent days. 
Telling about the camp, CT Group Chairman Charanjit S Channi said, “This is a part of joint longstanding commitment of CT Group of Institutions & Sankara Eye Hospital under social welfare with an aim to provide free eye care services to the economically disadvantaged people of Jalandhar. I appeal to all patients to register, come and avail this free opportunity on July 27.”
