CT Group organizes first online singing competition

Jalandhar: Making this lockdown creative for students, Department of Cultural Affairs, CT Group organised its first online singing competition ‘CT’s Singing Sensation’. In this, more than 60 students of CT Group of Institutions, North Campus (Maqsudan); South Campus (Shahpur), CT World School; CT Public School and CT University, Ludhiana participated.
All the participants sent their singing videos on Whatsapp. Out of these, top 30 were sent to the judges. The top three winners remained Jatinder Singh, BAJMC, CT Institute of Higher Studies stood first; Devika from M. Tech, CT Institute of Technology and Research (CTITR) Maqsudan stood second whereas Pavni Arora from CT World School stood third.
The results were announced online on the social media platforms of Group and winners were provided with digital certificates.
While congratulating the winners, CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh said that this online competition has got an over whelming response and our main objective was to provide a platform to the singers so that they can shift their focus from COVID-19. We will keep organising similar online competitions and webinars till the lockdown ends.
