Jalandhar, October 28, 2025: The Department of Physiotherapy at CT Group of Institutions organized an Expert Talk cum Workshop on “POP Casting Technique in Fracture Cases” to provide students with practical exposure to orthopedic care and rehabilitation.

The session was led by Dr. Tarundeep Singh, Medical Director at Ranjit Hospital and Ex-Registrar at PGI Rohtak, who delivered an in-depth and interactive session on the principles and process of Plaster of Paris (POP) casting. He emphasized accuracy, patient comfort, and the vital role of physiotherapists in post-fracture management. Students actively participated in the demonstration, gaining valuable insight into clinical practices and patient-handling skills.

The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions; Dr. Shiv Kumar, Director, Campus; Dr. Sangram Singh, Director, Academic Operations; Dr. Arun, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy; Dr. Anna, Assistant Dean, Department of Physiotherapy; along with the faculty members of the department.

Dr. Tarundeep Singh was honoured by Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions, for his valuable contribution and for sharing his clinical expertise with the students.
