CT Group Organises ‘Weekend of Wellness’ Dedicated to a Drug-Free Punjab and Punjab Flood Victims
CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan, in collaboration with the District Administration Hoshiarpur and Punjab Police, successfully organised the Weekend of Wellness (WOW) — a large-scale community initiative focused on creating a Drug-Free Punjab and supporting Punjab flood-affected families. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of students, citizens, performers, and fitness experts.
Jalandhar, November 30, 2025: CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan, in collaboration with the District Administration Hoshiarpur and Punjab Police, successfully organised the Weekend of Wellness (WOW) — a large-scale community initiative focused on creating a Drug-Free Punjab and supporting Punjab flood-affected families. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of students, citizens, performers, and fitness experts.
The occasion was graced by Sh. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Hoshiarpur, and Sh. Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, whose presence encouraged the youth to join hands in building a healthier Punjab. Also present were Sh. Ishank Kumar, Hon’ble MLA, Dr. Pankaj Shiv, renowned Dental Surgeon, Mr. Surinder Kumar Shinda, Hon’ble Mayor of Hoshiarpur, and Sh. Avinash Rai Khanna, Ex-Member of Parliament & Social Worker, who expressed strong support for the anti-drug mission and the flood-relief initiative.
Adding energy and social impact to the event, multiple activities were conducted including Bhangra performances, Yoga sessions, Self-Defence demonstrations, Nukkad Natak on anti-drug awareness, Zumba, Fun Cricket, and a special T20 Cricket Match between DC XI and SSP XI Hoshiarpur, organised to promote fitness, teamwork, and a united stand against drugs.
The event was also attended by Dr. Gagandeep (DSW) and Mr. Vikas Rai (Deputy Director, Admissions), who supported and coordinated various segments of the day-long wellness celebrations.
Dr. Anurag Sharma (Campus Director) stated that such events motivate the students to stay active, informed, and responsible, contributing towards a progressive Punjab.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to continue working towards a Drug-Free Punjab and to stand firmly with families affected by the recent floods.
