CT Group Organises Technology-Focused Bootcamps on XR and Mobile App Development

Jalandhar, September 21, 2026: CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, Jalandhar, strengthened its focus on industry-oriented and experiential learning by organising two intensive technology bootcamps, in association with BrightXR Pvt. Ltd. The programmes provided students with hands-on exposure to emerging technologies, practical projects and industry-relevant skills.
The five-day XR Industry Bootcamp & Innovation Challenge, organised by the Mediaverse Club, Department of Media Studies, CTIMIT, at the AG Lab, CTIMIT, introduced students to emerging technologies including Real-Time 3D, Game Development, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Spatial Computing and Digital Twins.
The sessions were conducted by Nirmal Singh, Founder & CEO, BrightXR Pvt. Ltd., who shared his expertise in Unity, XR, AI and immersive technologies. Through practical sessions and project-based learning, students were encouraged to explore innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
A key highlight of the programme was the Innovation Challenge, where students worked in interdisciplinary teams. The team “4 Powers”, comprising Gurpreet, Keshav, Jatin and Pritam of B.Sc. Multimedia-5, along with Manpreet of B.Tech CSE-3, won the Goodie Bag for Best Idea and Execution. The bootcamp witnessed participation from around 50 students from Multimedia, BBA, BCA and B.Tech CSE, with all participants receiving Certificates of Participation.
Alongside the XR bootcamp, CT Group also organised a 30-hour intensive bootcamp on “Mobile App Development Using Flutter”, bringing together students from Computer Applications, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), and Media Studies. The five-day programme focused on developing practical skills in mobile application development through interactive sessions and hands-on exercises.
The bootcamp was conducted by Aditya Kashyap, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, BrightXR Pvt. Ltd., who guided students through the fundamentals and practical aspects of Flutter-based mobile application development. Following a learning-by-doing approach, the programme helped students strengthen their programming, problem-solving, application design and development skills.
Based on their performance and active participation, Swami Shankar, BCA 5th Semester, and Abhishek Kumar, B.Tech 7th Semester, were honoured with Best Performance Awards for their dedication, technical skills and performance during the bootcamp.
Dr. Anurag Sharma, Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, appreciated the initiatives and emphasised the importance of practical and industry-oriented learning in preparing students for evolving technological careers. He encouraged students to continuously upgrade their technical skills and make the most of such experiential learning opportunities.

The two bootcamps further strengthened CT Group’s commitment to industry-academia interaction and technology-driven learning, preparing students for emerging opportunities in immersive media, mobile application development and the wider technology sector.
