CT Group organises online fashion show competition themed on lockdown

Jalandhar: Following ahead the singing and Bhangra online competition, Department of Cultural Affairs, CT Group of Institutions organised an online fashion show competition titled “Lockdown Ka Jalwa” themed on Lockdown in which 98 participants under 5 age categories, 4-8 years, 8-12 years, 12-16 years, 16+ years and special category participated.
The contestants from various states of India and Canada sent their walk and introduction videos which were later uploaded on social media platform. The judges namely Rajinder Kaur, actress and Chetna, RJ turned TV actress adjudged the contestants.
Out of the total participants, 41 were shortlisted on the basis of number of maximum likes and judges decision. Out of these, the top three winners under age category 4-8 years category remained Taavish, Aillish, Anaisha, Eliza Gupta and Haradhya Kaur. Under age category 8-12 years, Hasan Abdul, Arayishta, Bhawin and Kaishvi Arora stood first, second and third respectively, whereas, under age category of 12-16 years, Tripat Madan, Gurdip Sharma, Mitali won. Under age category 16+ years, Gurkirat Kaur, Jyoti Sharma and Drishti Saini stood first, second and third. Sumathi Pathak and Sita Devi from Assam stood first and second under special category.
CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of department’s Davinder Singh on organising this online fashion show competition. He also thanked participants from outside India who participated and showed their love and zeal.
