CT Group Organises Mega Blood Donation Drives, Collects Over 400 Units Across Campuses

Reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, CT Group organised large-scale blood donation camps across its campuses in collaboration with reputed healthcare institutions and social organisations. With enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, the collective initiative resulted in the successful collection of more than 400 units of blood, significantly contributing to saving lives and strengthening community healthcare support.

CT Group Organises Mega Blood Donation Drives, Collects Over 400 Units Across Campuses

Jalandhar, March 25, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, CT Group organised large-scale blood donation camps across its campuses in collaboration with reputed healthcare institutions and social organisations. With enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, the collective initiative resulted in the successful collection of more than 400 units of blood, significantly contributing to saving lives and strengthening community healthcare support.

At CT University, Ludhiana, a mega Blood Donation Camp was organised in association with Samvedna Trust and Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Health Care Society. The camp received an overwhelming response from the university community and was conducted with the support of Civil Hospital, Ludhiana and New Kokila Blood Center, Jagraon. A dedicated team of 15 experienced doctors and medical professionals ensured the smooth and safe execution of the camp under proper medical supervision and hygiene protocols. More than 250 units of blood were successfully collected during the drive.

The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries from CT University including Chancellor Sardar Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Prof (Dr) Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, and Director Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh appreciated the donors and encouraged continued participation in such humanitarian initiatives.

Meanwhile, CT Group of Institutions also organised a blood donation camp to commemorate the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The camp was conducted in association with Samvedna Trust Ludhiana, Satyam Hospital, Orthonova Hospital, and Bhagat Singh Vivekanand Vichar Manch. Students and staff members participated enthusiastically in the initiative, donating a total of 152 units of blood. The camp was organised under expert medical supervision with proper care, hygiene protocols, and post-donation arrangements for all donors. The initiative served as a meaningful tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh while inspiring the youth to contribute towards society through acts of compassion and service.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman CT Group, Charanjit Singh Channi, appreciated the spirit of service displayed by the students and staff. He stated, “Blood donation is one of the noblest acts of humanity, as it has the power to save precious lives. It is heartening to see our young students come forward with such enthusiasm and compassion.
