Jalandhar, August 26, 2026: CT Group of Institutions organised blood donation camps at its Shahpur and Maqsudan campuses to promote voluntary blood donation and encourage students and faculty members to contribute towards the noble cause of saving lives.
The camps received an overwhelming response from the CT fraternity, with students and faculty members from various disciplines coming forward with enthusiasm. More than 350 units of blood were collected across both campuses, reflecting the strong spirit of compassion, social responsibility and community service among the CT community.
The initiative received medical support from Orthonova and PIMS, whose medical teams ensured proper supervision and a safe donation process. Samvedna Trust also extended its wholehearted support towards the successful organisation of the camps.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof (Dr) Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group, said, “Blood donation is a noble act of service to humanity. The collection of 350+ units reflects the compassion and commitment of our students and faculty members. We are grateful to Orthonova, PIMS and Samvedna Trust for their valuable support in making this initiative successful. I hope this effort inspires more young people to come forward and become regular voluntary blood donors.”
Ajay Jain, Coordinator, Samvedna Trust, appreciated the collective efforts of the organising teams, medical professionals, volunteers, students and faculty members in making the camps successful.
The camps were supported by NSS volunteers and organising teams at both campuses, who played an important role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the initiative. The successful collection of 350+ units reinforced the message that every drop of donated blood can become a lifeline for someone in need.
The initiative reaffirmed CT Group’s commitment to promoting social responsibility among its students and building a culture of voluntary service and community welfare.
