CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Organises Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, organised a series of activities under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026. The initiative was organised in line with the campaign theme, “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”, with the objective of promoting cleanliness, civic responsibility and active community participation among students.
Jalandhar, October 6, 2026: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, organised a series of activities under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026. The initiative was organised in line with the campaign theme, “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”, with the objective of promoting cleanliness, civic responsibility and active community participation among students.
The programme commenced with an awareness session led by Amandeep Kaur, Community Facilitator, Health Department, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar. She sensitised the participants about the importance of cleanliness, proper waste management, personal hygiene and responsible participation in keeping public spaces clean.
Following the session, the participants took the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining cleanliness and encouraging others to contribute towards a cleaner and healthier society.
The NSS volunteers thereafter conducted a cleanliness drive in the vicinity of Maqsudan Flyover and the adjoining campus premises. The volunteers actively participated in cleaning the surroundings while spreading awareness about the importance of maintaining clean and hygienic public spaces.
The campaign was conducted under the guidance and support of Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions, and Dr. Anurag Sharma, Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan. Their encouragement motivated the students and NSS volunteers to actively participate in community-oriented initiatives and contribute towards social responsibility.
The initiative reflected CT Group of Institutions’ continued commitment to social responsibility, community engagement and environmental awareness. Through such initiatives, the institution aims to nurture responsible citizens who actively contribute towards building a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable society.
