CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, Jalandhar, Joins Hands with IIT Delhi for Virtual Labs
CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, Jalandhar, has joined hands with IIT Delhi under the Virtual Labs initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, implemented through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT). As part of this collaboration, CT Group of Institutions has been designated as a Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs under IIT Delhi.
Jalandhar, October 5, 2026: CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan, Jalandhar, has joined hands with IIT Delhi under the Virtual Labs initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, implemented through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT). As part of this collaboration, CT Group of Institutions has been designated as a Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs under IIT Delhi.
The Virtual Labs initiative aims to provide students with access to technology-enabled practical learning and virtual experimentation, enabling them to perform and understand experiments through an interactive digital platform. The initiative complements conventional laboratory education and provides students with opportunities to strengthen their practical understanding of technical concepts.
As a designated Nodal Centre, CT Group of Institutions will facilitate students and faculty members in accessing Virtual Labs and exploring experiments across relevant technical and academic domains. The centre will also receive operational and technical support under the initiative, helping ensure effective utilisation of the platform for teaching and learning.
The institution has been promoting technology-driven learning through various academic initiatives, and the collaboration with IIT Delhi further strengthens its efforts towards integrating digital tools, experiential learning and innovative teaching practices into education.
