Jalandhar: With the legacy of more than 23 years in the field of education, CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan adds another feather in its cap by introducing new courses keeping in view the demands of the market. The new courses such as B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and B.Sc Animation and Multimedia have been started from Academic Session 2020-21.
The entire world is currently struggling with one of the greatest combats of humanity – the Covid-19.  Doctors, scientists, healthcare workers, social workers, police, administration and others are putting their efforts to prevent and finding a solution to end this pandemic. 
While sharing about the course, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director said, “B.Tech AI and Data Science is one of the major tools being used presently for analysis and research. It is being used for analysing medical data, preparing treatment plans, contact tracing, analysing transmission rates, drug development, and detecting hotspots. Cova app and Aarogya Setu app are the based on their interaction with others, using Bluetooth technology, algorithms and artificial intelligence. Emerging trends of AI along with its subset machine learning has made it the most remarkable career in tech-industry. Experts believe that the influence of Artificial intelligence and Data Science will be substantial in the technological, social sciences and biomedical and other fields.”
Another emerging areas are B. Sc Amination and Multimedia and B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication. Due to pandemic there is increase in the demand for professionals, as Covid-19 created ample amount of opportunities for media personnel’s.
