Jalandhar, June 25, 2024: The Department of Physiotherapy at CT Group of Institutions recently organized a workshop on "Posture, Activities of Daily Living, and Ergonomics" as part of the Faculty Development Program.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Seema Arora, Principal of CTIHS, and Dr. Arun, Head of the Physiotherapy Department, to enhance faculty members' knowledge and skills in posture correction, daily activities, and ergonomic principles to promote health and prevent work-related injuries.
The workshop featured distinguished orthopedic physiotherapists, Dr. Kalpana and Dr. Riya, as resource persons. They provided in-depth sessions on the importance of maintaining good posture, integrating ergonomic practices into daily activities, and designing ergonomic workstations. Participants engaged in interactive demonstrations, and Q&A sessions, and received personalized feedback, gaining practical skills and a deeper understanding of these essential health principles.
Dr. Seema Arora commented, "This workshop is a significant step towards promoting a healthier work environment for our faculty. Understanding and implementing ergonomic practices are crucial in preventing work-related injuries and enhancing overall well-being."
