Jalandhar, October 8, 2026: CT Group of Institutes in association with The Institution of Engineers (India) Ludhiana local chapter celebrated World Habitat Day and World Architecture Day with great enthusiasm, bringing together architects, engineers, academicians, students, and industry professionals to promote awareness about sustainable development and the role of architecture in shaping a better future.

The event was graced by Ar. Dinesh Bhagat, Vice Chairman, IIA Punjab Chapter, as the Chief Guest. The programme was also attended by eminent personalities including Dr. Arvind Dhingra, Former Chairman, IEI Ludhiana; Er. Balwinder Singh, IEI Ludhiana; and Er. Surinder Singh, Former Honorary Secretary, IEI Ludhiana.

Addressing the gathering, the distinguished experts shared valuable insights and guidance on future-ready and sustainable architecture. They emphasized the need to design buildings and cities that are environmentally responsible, energy-efficient, resource-conscious, and resilient to future challenges. The speakers encouraged students to integrate innovative technologies, sustainable materials, renewable energy, efficient water management, and climate-responsive design into architectural practices.
