CT Group Inaugurates ‘Gyan Chetna’ Pen Statue to Mark the Beginning of the New Session
Symbol of knowledge, devotion, and conscious learning unveiled with a Wish Balloon Ceremony
Jalandhar, January 10, 2026: CT Group marked the beginning of the new session with the inauguration of a symbolic pen statue titled ‘Gyan Chetna’, representing knowledge, awareness, devotion, and active involvement in the learning journey.
The statue was inaugurated by Chairman Sardar Charanjit Singh Channi, Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, and Vice-Chairman Harpreet Singh, in the presence of students, faculty members, and staff. The initiative reflects CT Group’s continued commitment to nurturing value-based, conscious education.
The concept of Gyan Chetna signifies awakened knowledge and awareness, highlighting education as a transformative process that goes beyond textbooks to shape character, ethics, and social responsibility. The pen symbolises the power of learning, ideas, and expression in building enlightened individuals and a progressive society.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by a Wish Balloon Ceremony, during which students, along with the management and faculty, released balloons carrying their hopes, dreams, and aspirations for the new session. The moment symbolised unity, optimism, and a shared vision for growth and excellence.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Sardar Charanjit Singh Channi said, “The ‘Gyan Chetna’ pen statue stands as a symbol of conscious learning—where knowledge is guided by devotion, discipline, and involvement. Education is not merely about academic achievement; it is about awakening awareness, values, and responsibility in young minds. As we begin this new session, CT Group reaffirms its commitment to shaping thoughtful learners and responsible citizens.”
The event was held in the presence of Dr. Shiv Kumar, Director–Campus; Dr. Sangram Singh, Director–Academic Operations; and Dr. Arjan Singh, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, along with faculty members and students.
Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, and Vice-Chairman Harpreet Singh also encouraged students to approach learning with curiosity, integrity, and purpose, reinforcing CT Group’s vision of holistic and future-ready education.
