CT Group Hosts PTIS Inter-College Cricket Tournament 2025 at CTIEMT, Shahpur
CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, successfully hosted the Punjab Technical Institutions (PTIS) Inter-College Cricket Tournament 2025, uniting nine college teams in a vibrant display of sportsmanship, teamwork, and youthful energy.
Jalandhar, November 09, 2025: CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, successfully hosted the Punjab Technical Institutions (PTIS) Inter-College Cricket Tournament 2025, uniting nine college teams in a vibrant display of sportsmanship, teamwork, and youthful energy.
The tournament featured multiple competitive matches, including thrilling semi-finals, a third-place match, and an intense grand final. The Opening and Closing Ceremonies were graced by Harpreet Singh Channi, Vice Chairman, CT Group, Dr. Shiv Kumar, Director Campus, CT Group of Institutions, Dr. Sangram Singh, Director (Academics Operations), Dr. Arjan Singh, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, and Manish Dhingra, Principal, CT Polytechnic Shahpur. Their motivating presence inspired participants to give their best performances.
The event saw Mehr Chand Jalandhar defeating GPC Ferozpur, CCET Chandigarh winning over Sai Poly Badhani, CT Polytechnic Shahpur edging past GPC Batala, and GPC Ludhiana claiming victory against GPC Jalandhar. Mehr Chand Jalandhar also triumphed over CIHT Jalandhar, setting the stage for highly competitive semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, Mehr Chand Jalandhar defeated CT Polytechnic Shahpur, while CCET Chandigarh overcame GPC Ludhiana. In the third-place match, GPC Ludhiana beat CT Polytechnic Shahpur by 7 wickets. The grand final between CCET Chandigarh and Mehr Chand Jalandhar was a thrilling encounter, with CCET Chandigarh emerging as the Champion by just 2 runs.
At the conclusion of the tournament, CCET Chandigarh was crowned Champion, Mehr Chand Jalandhar finished as Runner-up, and GPC Ludhiana secured Third Place.
