CT Group Celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with Devotion, Music and Eco-Friendly Visarjan

Jalandhar, September 16, 2026: CT Group of Institutions celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion, enthusiasm and a strong message of environmental responsibility, bringing students and faculty together to welcome Lord Ganesha and seek His blessings.

The festivities began with a vibrant Aagaman procession, as students welcomed Bappa with music, dance and devotional chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya.” The procession saw students singing and dancing with enthusiasm as they accompanied Bappa to the campus. The idol was then ceremonially installed amidst prayers and blessings, marking the beginning of the auspicious celebrations.

Students remained actively involved throughout the festivities, taking care of Bappa and participating in the rituals with devotion and enthusiasm. The celebrations continued into the evening with a soulful Bhajan Sandhya, where students and faculty came together to sing devotional bhajans and immerse themselves in the spiritual atmosphere.

The following day marked Bappa’s Vidai. The farewell celebrations began with Aarti and devotional bhajans, followed by the final procession. Students and faculty participated with equal enthusiasm, singing, dancing and chanting as they bid an emotional farewell to Lord Ganesha.

The celebrations concluded with the Visarjan of an eco-friendly idol of Lord Ganesha, reflecting CT Group’s commitment to celebrating traditions while remaining conscious of the environment. The eco-friendly immersion reinforced the message that faith, celebration and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.

The celebrations were graced by Prof. Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group and Pro Chancellor, CT University; Tanika Singh, Joint Managing Director, CT Group; Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group; Adv. Manjinder Kaur, Co-Vice Chairperson, CT Group; and Dr. Jayaashish Sethi, Director Campus, CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur. Their presence added to the spirit of the celebrations and encouraged students to embrace cultural traditions with devotion, togetherness and responsibility.

The campus echoed with the heartfelt chant, “Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudchya Varshi Lavkar Ya,” as the celebrations came to a close, leaving behind memories of devotion, cultural pride and togetherness.
