CT Group celebrates Basant Panchmi with kite flying
Jalandhar, February 9, 2019: Marking the advent of spring season, CT Group marked the eve of Basant Panchmi with kite flying. The kids of CT World School were decked up in yellow and were taught the meaning of this occasion along with process of flying kites. The cheerful faces were all excited to learn the kite flying and remained successful with the proper guidance of teachers. On the other hand, Chairman Charanjit S Channi marked the occasion by flying kites with the students of CT Public School. The students were quite happy to commemorate this occasion with him. CT College of Law, Shahpur held an informal kite flying competition in which students flew kites and enjoyed the occasion. On the other hand, to observe this eve, MK College of Education, Shahpur organized an Inter-Class Cooking Competition which was felicitated by Dr. GS Kalra, Director Campus, Dr Kuldip Grewal, Director GNDU Colleges, Dr. Seema Arora, Principal CTIHS. In this, students displayed their culinary skills and presented in beautiful crockery with flowers, fruit carving and so many other new ideas. Charanjit S Channi, Chairman, CT Group wished everyone on this occasion and said that besides studies, students especially of schools must be taught with importance of every festival of India as it helps in preserving our rich Indian culture.
