Free artificial distribution camp being organised under corporate social responsibility (CSR) by National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, Ludhiana at Viklang Sahayata Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana, in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust.
Ludhiana, October 24, 2013: Free artificial distribution camp under corporate social responsibility (CSR) was organised by National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, Ludhiana at Viklang Sahayata Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana, in which 75 physically challenged persons were provided artificial limbs, tricycles, wheel chairs and hearing aids machines.
The camp was organised in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust. Ravindra Nath, Director (Finance) of NSIC Ltd was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the work being done by BVP Charitable Trust and said that they would continue to hold such camps in future for the benefit of handicapped persons.
Narinder Mittal, Secretary, BVP Charitable Trust said the Kender has provided artificial limbs and other aids and appliances to more than 38,800 physically challenged persons. He added more than 1,800 Polio affected persons have been successfully operated to stand on their feet and live with dignity.
Niti Sethi- Company Secretary, Rajesh Jain, DGM Vishal Bhatnagar of NSIC Ltd, Kamal Chopra, Secretary, Offset Printers’ Association, Dr. Kuldip, Dr. DRC Bakhetia, Neelam Gupta, Aruna Puri and RP Gupta were among those present. www.cityairnews.com
