CSIR-IHBT scholars contributes for the covid-19 fund

Dharamshala: The students of CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology Palampur near here, has voluntarily   donated a collective sum of Rs. 1,35,254 to PM CARE and relief funds.  Prior to that Richa Mishra on the behalf of the ladies’ club of the institute and others ladies, and the employees of the institute have contributed an amount of Rs. 8.25 lakh.
Dr Sanjay Kumar, Director of the institute informed that the Institute is in the process of setting up facilities for taking up testing of COVID-19 which would be ready in a couple of days. This would facilitate to enhance the testing capacity for the corona virus not only in the state but in the region.
