Crackdown on Illegal Constructions Continues in Rohtak; Demolition Drive Conducted in Bhaiyapur, Bohar and Mayna: DC Sachin Gupta
Reinforcing its zero-tolerance stance against unauthorized developments, the district administration carried out a demolition drive in Bhaiyapur, Bohar and Mayna villages to curb illegal constructions and unapproved colonies.
Rohtak, March 25, 2026: Reinforcing its zero-tolerance stance against unauthorized developments, the district administration carried out a demolition drive in Bhaiyapur, Bohar and Mayna villages to curb illegal constructions and unapproved colonies.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the administration is committed to ensuring planned urban development and strict enforcement of regulations in controlled and urban areas.
During the demolition drive; Two illegal constructions were demolished in Bhaiyapur and Bohar. In Mayna village, an unauthorized colony spread over approximately 6 acres was targeted. The kutcha road network developed in the illegal colony was dismantled.
The operation was conducted by officials of the District Town Planner (DTP) office, with adequate police force deployed to maintain law and order.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the administration will continue regular enforcement drives and illegal constructions and colonies will not be allowed to develop. He said that strict action will be taken against violations as per law.
He strongly advised the citizens not to invest their savings in illegal constructions or unauthorized colonies and to verify the legality of land and projects before making any investment.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said, “The administration is committed to planned development and will take strict action against illegal constructions to safeguard public interest.”
