CPI condemns firing incident in Sarabha Nagar market

Ludhiana, February 28, 2014: The Communist Party of India (CPI) has condemned in strong words the lawlessness at the Sarabha Nagar market here on Thursday evening.
In a joint statement here today, Kartar Singh Bowani – District Secretary, Dr Arun Mitra & D P Maur - Assistant Secretaries said that this has exposed the Akali-BJP government who have failed to check deteriorating law and order in the state. Firing at a public place where ordinary citizens were put to risk of their lives at the hands of gun tottering gangs who are associated with Akali Dal is a very serious issue.
