A CPDL delegation comprising Director Arun Kumar Verma, CEO Brajesh Kumar, Head HR & Administration Sandeep Rai, and PR Head Jaideep Sarin called on the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, at Punjab Lok Bhawan. The delegation highlighted CPDL’s key initiatives focused on improving power infrastructure, service reliability, and consumer experience across Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, June 18, 2026: A delegation from Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL), comprising Director Arun Kumar Verma, CEO Brajesh Kumar, Head – HR & Administration Sandeep Rai, and PR Head Jaideep Sarin, called on the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, at Punjab Lok Bhawan today.
During the meeting, various aspects relating to the power distribution sector, consumer services, employee welfare, and key initiatives being undertaken by CPDL were discussed. The delegation briefed the Hon’ble Administrator on the company's ongoing efforts to ensure reliable, efficient, and consumer-centric power supply services across Chandigarh.
The Governor and Administrator appreciated the significant reduction in consumer complaints witnessed over the past few months and acknowledged CPDL’s efforts towards improving service delivery and customer satisfaction.
The Governor was also apprised of the various Human Resource initiatives undertaken by CPDL for employee welfare, skill development, capacity building, and fostering a positive work environment.
The interaction was cordial and constructive, with a meaningful exchange of views on strengthening the power distribution ecosystem in Chandigarh. The CPDL delegation reaffirmed its commitment to delivering consumer-centric services, adopting best practices, and contributing to the continued growth and development of Chandigarh’s power infrastructure.
