Covid warriors of DMCH honoured on occasion of 198th birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati

Ludhiana, March 1, 2022: On the occasion of 198th birth anniversary  of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Covid warriors  of DMCH facilitated by Arya Samaj Ludhiana. The event was organized by the Arya Samaj Ludhiana in Dumra Auditorium of DMCH.
The event was inaugurated by lamp lightening ceremony by the dignitaries including Prem Kumar Gupta Secretary DMCH Managing Society and  Sunila Gupta, Member DMCH Managing Society. Rajni Bector, Padma Shree awardee (Cremica Food Pvt Ltd.), Sudarshan Sharma, President Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Punjab,   Suresh Munjal, President Arya Samaj, Model Town, Ludhiana and office bearers of Arya Samaj graced the occasion by their presence. Faculty members from DMCH were also present on the occasion.
A havan and flag hoisting ceremony was also performed.
Swami Sampurnand Maharaj from Yog  Sansthan Vidyapeeth  Karnal, who was the speaker on the occasion, said that the teachings of  Swami Dayanand are relevant today and can lead our lives towards righteousness and peace. During his speech, Swami Ji highlighted the four basic rights of humans. These are: Education, Health facilities, Religion and Non- violence.
Dr Bishav Mohan Professor, Department of Cardiology & Medical Superintendent Hero DMC Heart Institute shared the journey of DMCH in fighting Covid. In his address he said that the Covid time was very difficult for the society, it was the joint efforts of our health care workers of various department that the crucial situation was tackled.

At the end of the event a ‘Pranayama and Meditation  Kriya’ was performed by  Swami  Sampurnand  ji  by which  heartbeat of swami was disappeared for one minute and it was really shocking for all.
Dr Bishav Mohan acknowledged the contribution of all the members of DMCH Managing Society for their indispensable role during pandemic and shows the  gratitude to Sampurnand Maharaj for sharing the valuable teaching of Swami Dayanand on this auspicious day.
All the office bearers of Arya Samaj and many locals apart from others were also present on the occasion.
