Covid 19: Nodal officer appointed to ensure safety of children

Ludhiana: In view of lockdown/curfew due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic, the District Administration has started a child helpline and now a nodal officer has also been appointed to ensure the safety of children.
While providing information, Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that in view of the current situation, any aspect related to the safety of children cannot be ignored and that is why, special steps are being taken in this regard. He informed information related to the exploitation of children or to save them, can be provided.
He informed that District Child Protection Officer, Ludhiana has been appointed as nodal officer in this regard, and he can be contacted at phone numbers 9988448434, 9779361038, 9888236970 or at child helpline number 1098.
