Ludhiana, December 16, 2025: Former President of the District Congress Committee (Urban), Ludhiana, and senior Congress leader Pawan Dewan has welcomed the court’s verdict in the National Herald case. He stated that the decision has strengthened the Congress party’s stand and clearly demonstrated that truth cannot be suppressed.
In a statement issued here today, Pawan Dewan said that the verdict has further reinforced public faith in constitutional institutions. Emphasising the Congress party’s commitment to transparency, democratic values, and the rule of law, he noted that all misleading propaganda spread against the party leadership has been exposed, thereby strengthening people’s trust in law and justice.
He added that the Congress party has always stood firm in its commitment to democracy and the people of the country and will continue to do so with unwavering resolve.
