Corporate Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, PSPCL Ludhiana conducted hearing today 

Ludhiana, August 23, 2022: Corporate Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, PSPCL, Ludhiana conducted hearing today in its headquarters situated at 220 KV Grid Sub Station Complex, Ludhiana. 

Total 21 cases belonging to distribution zones of South, West and Central were heard out of which 11 cases were decided and closed for final speaking orders. 

Chairperson told that all cases of dispute related to electricity bills involving an amount exceeding Rs.5 Lac in each case, can be filed directly in the Corporate Forum. In addition to this, appeals against the decisions of Division, Circle or Zonal Level CGRFs can also be filed with the Corporate Forum within two months of such decision. 

The Chairperson mentioned that normally the hearings of the Forum are conducted at its headquarters at Ludhiana but keeping in view the convenience of the consumers, the Forum would hold meetings at prominent places elsewhere in the State. 

Chairperson also told that earlier meeting was held at Jalandhar on August 17, 2022 for the convenience of public and next meeting will be held at Bathinda in first week of September for the consumers related to that area. 

Er. Kuldeep Singh/Chief Engineer cum Chairperson, Er. Himat Singh Dhillon/Independent Member and Baneet Kumar Singla/Member Finance will listen to the grievances of the consumers.
