Congress workers on Thursday pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his 66th death anniversary at the office of Amritsar DCC (Rural).

Amritsar, January 30, 2014: Congress workers on Thursday paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his 66th death anniversary at the office of Amritsar District Congress Committee (Rural) under the leadership of Gurjeet Singh Aujla.

Congress workers not only lit candles but also took an oath to serve the nation the way Bapu taught us and be selfless into the service of humanity. Aujla said that Congress has always followed peaceful way of service as Bapu’s satyagrah forced British to flee from India.

Aujla further added that the situation of the political system is quite pathetic at the moment and the perfect example of this would be the meeting of house held a few days back in Amritsar Corporation office.
