Congress talks on baseless issues: Dhumal

Dharamsala, October 16, 2019: Speaking over the issue of the second capital status to Dharamshala city, the former Himachal CM Prem Kumar Dhumal said a big deal in the vocal war has been raised over Dharamshala’s second capital issue amid the by-election.
Speaking to the media in Dharamshala, former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal said that the Congress people talk about paper work, and make capitals by notification on paper, while the BJP works on the ground.
He said, “During our last government we brought the secretariat here, brought many other offices too. We developed Dharamshala as a sports city. We also built the Food Croft Institute here.”
Regarding the Congress slogan of Himachal for Sale at Investor Meet, former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal said that the Congress had raised this issue even during his government. His government constituted a commission of inquiry. All the wrongdoings that were caught in that investigation were of Congress and their governments. When the Congress came back to power in 2012, that report was suppressed.
He said that a hotel was seized by his government in violation of Section 118 in Barog. But when the Congress government came, it was returned back to the owner. He said that Congress should talk on concrete issues. Former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal had come here today to campaign for BJP candidate Vishal Naiharia in by-election. He also addressed few public meeting here.
