Congress starts series of ‘Nukkad Nataks' to highlight BJP misdeeds in past 6 years

Chandigarh, December 14, 2021: Intensifying its poll campaign for MC poll, Chandigarh Congress launched a series of ‘Nukkad Nataks' in the city on Tuesday. The nataks which are satire on the misdeeds of the BJP perpetrated during the last six years performed at various parts of the city.
The volunteers of the party from Punjab and Chandigarh joined hands to highlight the problems faced by the residents of the city, which once used to be known as "City Beautiful".
The Congress volunteers gave voice to the people's anguish on account of steep decline in the sanitary conditions of the city. It is a matter of shame that the ranking of the city, which was known for its excellent civic standards, the world over, has now nosedived to 66th position in the country in terms of sanitation and cleanliness. The rising mountain of garbage at Daddu Majra besides heaps of garbage scattered all over the city came up as a special mention by them.
The voluntary artists also highlighted the hardships faced by the common masses on account of unbridled inflation. They castigated both the Central government and the local Municipal Corporation for the rising prices. Their take on Petrol crossing Rs 100 and Mustard oil crossing Rs 200 mark was enthusiastically appreciated by the audience enthusiastically by the audience.
Through ‘Nukad Nataks’ , the artists also talked about the rampant corruption that prevailed in the Corporation during the last six years in addition to highlighting the mismanagement of Community Parking in the city.
‘Nukad NatakS’ started from sector 17 Plaza followed by at sector 20 B, Dariya and Daddu Majra villages. More nataks will be performed at ten different locations in the city tomorrow.
Nataks were directed by Varinder Dodi in which Manjinder Singh, Gurmail Singh, Mohit Kumar and Mohit Kumar gave their best performances.
