Congress staged walkout during question hour on third day in Vidhan Sabha

Dharamsala, December 13, 2021: The proceedings of the third day of the winter session in Dharamsala began with the opposition slogans against the government on Monday. Adjournment motion was sought on issues like giving jobs from the back door, ignoring jobs on compassionate grounds and appointments of outsourcing employees but Assembly Speaker Vipin Parmar rejected it under the rules, and said that three subjects cannot be discussed together.
On the other hand, the Speaker of the Assembly started the Question Hour. But the members of the opposition reached the bell, raising slogans against the government.  All the members of congress sat down on the floor in the bell and started addressing the public issues in turns, on the issue of policemen also the members of the opposition are surrounding the government. The opposition alleges that most of the appointments are being made in the Jal Shakti Department from the backdoor. Jobs are not being given on compassionate grounds. Apart from this, the opposition was also attacking the government as to why the CM was absent from the assembly.
Later, the opposition staged a walkout during the Question Hour. However, members of the opposition returned to the House after the Question Hour. Giving this statement in the absence of the Chief Minister, Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh said that the cabinet has given a lot of thought to outsourcing employees and for this a sub-committee has also been formed. He said that about 800 to 900 people have been given jobs by the government on compassionate grounds so far. The government is also taking action on other matters. He said that job restrictions were imposed during the tenure of Congress on compassionate grounds. The matters of his tenure were also pending. Although the present government is sensitive on this matter, the pending cases will also be resolved soon and jobs will be given to the dependents.
Mahendra Singh said that as far as new recruitments are concerned, the present government has done maximum number of recruitments in the last four years. He said that the members of the opposition who had accused the government had forgotten that the recruitment was done on letters during his tenure. He said that the opposition was wasting public money by doing a walkout from the question hour. He said that the Question Hour is an important business but the opposition is going out of the house by making some excuse or the other. He strongly condemned this behavior of the opposition.
