Rohtak, June 25, 2026: The Congress party has launched a nationwide campaign titled 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' (Voice of Students) to protest against paper leaks, recruitment scams, and failures in the examination system across the country. This 40-day movement aims to amplify the voices of students and job aspirants in 28 major cities nationwide.
Congress MP from Ganganagar (Rajasthan), Kuldeep Indora, shared this information while addressing journalists in Rohtak on Thursday. Accusing the central government of playing with the future of students and the youth, MP Kuldeep Indora stated that the NEET-UG paper leak case has raised serious questions about the country's examination system.
He noted that the years of hard work put in by lakhs of students and the hopes of their families have been sacrificed to corruption, yet the central government is evading accountability.
He demanded that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign immediately, accepting moral responsibility, and called for an impartial investigation into the paper leak mafia, vendor agencies, officials, and their political patrons. He alleged that numerous paper leaks and examination scams have surfaced in recent years, affecting crores of students; despite this, the government has failed to make the examination system secure and transparent.
MP Indora emphasized that this is not merely an issue of education but concerns the employment and future of the youth, as well as the nation's development. During the briefing, he outlined three key demands: the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, comprehensive reform of the entire examination system, and the implementation of a fixed annual calendar for examinations and recruitment.
He announced that a student outreach campaign, street-corner meetings, and leaflet distribution drives would begin nationwide on June 30. The first phase of the 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign will conclude with weekly programs, campus outreach, and 'Ambedkar Samvad' events in July, followed by the gherao (siege) of Collectorate offices in 28 cities on August 1 and a 'Delhi Chalo' event on August 9. He appealed to students and the youth to join the 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign and actively participate in the fight for their rights. He stated that this is not merely a political movement but a battle to safeguard the future of crores of students and young people across the country.
Meanwhile, Nishit Kataria, State President of the Haryana Youth Congress, remarked that the BJP government is consistently shattering the dreams of the youth. Young people across the country, including in Haryana, are grappling with issues such as unemployment, recruitment delays, and paper leaks. He asserted that the Congress party's 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign would strengthen the voice of the youth and hold the government accountable. The State Youth President added that today's youth desire fair examinations, timely recruitment, and a transparent system, and that the Congress stands firmly with them in this struggle.
