Ludhiana, February 27, 2019: Punjab Congress general secretary Pawan Dewan today demanded the suspension of the Indo-Pak bus service. He said, there was no point in continuing the bus service between Delhi and Lahore when Pakistan was indulging in hostile activities against India.
In a statement issued here today, Dewan said, Pakistan has continuously waged a war against India. He said, the recent killing of 41 CRPF personnel has enraged the whole nation. Every Indian is feeling angry and there is no reason that why India should play host to Pakistanis travelling to India.
Dewan also criticized the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for her statement that it would be difficult to hold tri-colour in Kashmir if Article 35-A of the Indian constitution was repealed. He said, the government should register sedition case against Mufti. The PCC general secretary said, Mehbooba Mufti was trying to resort to political blackmail and double speak. He said, while being in power, everything is right for her and the moment she was out of power, she has started behaving in an anti-national manner.
Dewan said, the entire country was united against the terror and the enemies like Pakistan. He said, this was a country’s fight against an enemy and everybody was united in this war.
