Congress Celebrates Baba Vishwakarma Ji’s Birth Anniversary with Great Enthusiasm

Ludhiana, October 22, 2025: The birth anniversary of Baba Vishwakarma Ji, the divine architect and God of craftsmanship and creation, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Congress Party. On this occasion, special prayers and aarti were performed at Sarabha Nagar, where floral tributes were offered with deep devotion. Similar programs were also organized at Housing Board Colony and BRS Nagar, where several artisans, engineers, and technical experts actively participated.

Addressing the gathering, Pawan Dewan, former Chairman of the Punjab Large Industrial Development Board, former President of Ludhiana Urban Congress, and senior Congress leader, said that Baba Vishwakarma Ji is not only the deity of labor and craftsmanship but also a source of inspiration for the entire working class. “From a simple needle to a massive ship that sails across the seas — everything is a manifestation of Baba Vishwakarma Ji’s divine creativity,” he said. Dewan added that Baba Vishwakarma Ji’s birth anniversary is celebrated with devotion and reverence not only in Punjab and India but across the world.

He also urged the government to extend greater support to artisans and small-scale industries so that the vision of a self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat) could be realized more effectively.

At the same time, Gurnam Singh Kaler, Vice President of Ludhiana Urban Congress, organized a havan yagya at the Baba Vishwakarma Temple in Housing Board Colony and also arranged a special langar (community meal) at BRS Nagar. Pawan Dewan, who attended both events, appreciated Kaler’s devotion and commitment toward Baba Vishwakarma Ji.

Paramjit Singh Bharaj, Harbhagat Singh Garewal, Sudhir Syal, and Shiv Mohan Singh were also present on the occassion.
