Condolence meeting for Dr Inderjeet Singh at Khalsa College

Jalandhar: A condolence meeting was held in Lyallpur Khalsa College on the unfortunate demise of Dr. Inderjeet Singh Ex Registrar Guru Nanak Dev University. Remembering the services of Dr. Inderjeet Singh to the field of academics, the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that Dr. Singh served in different capacities- as teacher , as principal and then as registrar - and in all of these he proved his capabilities. Dr. Samra also said that Dr. Singh had an extraordinary flair for Punjabi folk culture and he shaped the lives and career of number of artists. Paying tribute to the departed soul on the behalf of Sardarni Balbir Kaur President College Governing Council Dr. Samra informed that Dr. Inderjeet Singh also served as a lecturer in commerce in Lyallpur Khalsa College for a number of years. He prayed to the almighty for peace for the departed soul. The occasion was witnessed by the presence of teaching and non teaching staff of the college.
