Conclave on “Emerging Manpower Trends 4.0”

Phagwara: GNA University in collaboration with CII organized a conclave on “Emerging Manpower Trends 4.0” with an objective to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Industrialists and top management executives of renowned organizations across India and Office bearers of many major Industry associations in Punjab participated in the meet.

Mr. Abhishek Sood, Head-Corporate Relations, in his inaugural address stressed the need for continuous interaction between the Industry and academia and called upon the Industry to join hands with GNA University in building a robust platform for such a mechanism. He also shared Industry Alliances GNA University is offering via its courses. 

Industry leaders opined that it is a great initiative and pledged their full support to students. Few industries offered live projects to students and invited students to implement the same in their respective industries. Ms. Minnie Riat, MD, Akal Springs, shared her entrepreneurial journey with students and encouraged them to become job creators. Mr Tushar Jain, Vice Chair, CII Jalandhar Chapter offered internships to students. Industrialists also offered help to students with startup ideas.

Mr. Uthayan Elangovan from NEEL Smartec, Trivandrum. Mr Amit Modi from UI Path, Hyderabad. Dr Munish Jindal from Hover Robotix, Punjab were a few of the renowned members of the Conclave.
