Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible captures hearts with its portrayal of Pushpa (Karuna Pandey), an ordinary yet extraordinary woman who rises against adversity with resilience and unwavering determination. The show chronicles her journey as she transforms from a homemaker into an advocate, refusing to let life's setbacks define her, while standing firm in her belief.
In the upcoming episodes, Pushpa’s investigation into the recent episode of numerous patients emerging from a particular locality takes a dangerous turn when she receives a serious warning meant to scare her into backing off. Even as she pushes ahead — meeting journalists, filing a PIL, and chasing new leads — the threats around her begin to grow. At the same time, Pushpa’s daughter Rashi’s (Akshaya Hindalkar) fiancé Rishabh (Shrey Maradiya) hosts a dinner and meet-and-greet for the two families. Pushpa arrives late due to her investigation, and upon returning, she is first taunted by Rishabh’s mother for being late and then denied food under the pretext that “their family doesn’t eat after 8 pm.” What leaves Pushpa truly shaken, however, is Rishabh’s sudden anger and unpredictable behaviour. His outburst makes her deeply worried about Rashi’s future with him — especially as Rashi tries hard to impress his family.
These red flags leave Pushpa deeply concerned — will Rashi be able to adjust to a family that shows such troubling behaviour?
Karuna Pandey, who plays Pushpa, shares, “This phase is especially emotional for Pushpa because, while she is fearless in her fight for justice, what truly shakes her is seeing the red flags in Rishabh and his family. Pushpa watches Rashi trying so earnestly to impress them, yet she can sense the control and temper beneath the surface. As a mother, that worry stays with her — she’s genuinely concerned about whether Rashi will be able to adjust and find happiness in such an environment. I believe viewers will deeply connect with this track, because it reflects so many real situations where families overlook early warning signs in relationships.”
