Mumbai, June 29, 2026: They say, "Every mind has its own way of shining." At a time when society celebrates individuality yet often struggles to understand it, COLORS presents 'Juhi Mui', a heartfelt story of a young autistic woman navigating a world that constantly underestimates her. At the heart of the story is Juhi Suri, a bright young woman whose unique way of seeing the world becomes both her greatest strength and her biggest challenge. Gifted with an extraordinary memory and a sharp mind, Juhi possesses abilities that set her apart. Yet, despite her brilliance, Juhi often finds herself judged for being different and compared against society's narrow definition of what is considered ‘normal’.
Raised in the discipline of law chambers along with her brother Karan, she grew up observing her loving father, Rajendra Suri, a respected lawyer who runs his own legal practice and shields her from the world he fights daily. Her mind is wired for the law - she remembers sections verbatim, connects precedents instinctively, and notices the details others miss. While father is overprotective and her brother hails her as a genius, the one person who treats Juhi with normalcy is Inspector Sanyam Singh - a grounded, instinct-driven cop who becomes her most unexpected ally. Along this journey, the story asks whether we should ask people to change to fit the system, or finally change the system to include them? Starring Eisha Singh in the titular role, Sanjay Suri as her father Rajendra Suri, Sai Deodhar as Suchitra Suri, Ayub Khan as Uttam Suri, Krushag Ghuge as Karan Suri and Vijayendra Kumeria as Inspector Sanyam Singh, ‘Juhi Mui’ premieres on 29th June and thereafter airs every Monday to Friday at 9:30 PM only on COLORS and JioHotstar.
Speaking about stepping into Juhi’s world, Eisha Singh says, “Embodying Juhi has been one of the most challenging and deeply fulfilling experiences of my career and a role that will always hold a special place in my heart. Portraying a girl who communicates differently required me to reinvent my approach - relying on subtle expressions, physical nuances, and silence to reveal her rich inner world. I felt a deep responsibility in bringing this remarkable autistic girl to life with honesty and empathy. More than anything, I want audiences to look beyond labels and see an exceptionally intelligent young woman who experiences love, joy, and sorrow like everyone else. This story is ultimately about inclusion, dignity, and recognizing the power autistic individuals have to enrich and transform society.”
On playing Inspector Sanyam Singh, Vijayendra Kumeria says, “Juhi Mui marks my first time wearing a police uniform on screen and stepping away from polished suits and conventional heroism. Inspector Sanyam Singh is unapologetically desi, emotionally transparent, and completely out of place in the image-conscious world around him. What I love most about him is his belief that systems don’t become compassionate on their own, it takes individuals to make them so. Through Sanyam, the show reminds us that empathy isn’t about polished words or progressive jargon; it’s about showing up, standing by people, and refusing to look away from injustice. I hope audiences see Juhi Mui not just as a legal thriller, but as a story that challenges our ideas of strength, justice, and inclusion and inspires us to build a kinder, more compassionate world.”
