Chandigarh, February 16, 2026: Home Science College participated in the Panel Discussion and Culmination Ceremony under Project DROP, a CSR initiative of Kia India, implemented by the Indian Pollution Control Association at Park Plaza Hotel Zirakpur on 29 January 2026.
The programme focused on sustainable plastic waste management and the role of educational institutions in promoting environmental responsibility.
The college was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for its efforts in source segregation and responsible plastic waste management.
The Principal, Prof. Sudha Katyal, appreciated the initiative and encouraged continued efforts towards a clean and sustainable environment.
