College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana celebrates Alumni Day

Ludhiana, March 21, 2019: College of Nursing, CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana celebrated Alumni Day on 21st March, 2019. The Initiation Ceremony of General Nursing & Midwifery – Batch 2014 & 2015, B.Sc.Nursing – Batch 2014 and M.Sc.Nursing – Batch 2017 & 2018 was started with invocation songs by faculty College of Nursing & word of prayer by Rev. Alex Peter followed by presentation of mementos and badges to the new alumni members. Many senior alumni came to attend the function & it was a home coming for them.
Dr.Reena Jairus, Professor & Principal welcomed and introduced the Chief Guest Mrs. Alice Samuel who served CMC & Hospital for 27 years. The Chief Guest went down the memory lane and remembered her golden days at CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana. Dr. William Bhatti, Director congratulated the new alumni.
Dr. Anil Luther, Medical Superintendent and Rev. William D. Virgin, Governing Board member gave felicitations to the new graduates. Senior Nurses Mrs. Loverina R. Lal & Mrs. Anita were honoured for their 25 years of dedicated services to the institution.
Dr. Usha Singh, Professor & President, Alumni Association laid importance on the Alumni Association.
Alumni News Letter was released by Mrs. Prem Lata Prakash, Assoc. Professor/ Publicity Officer & all the respected dignitaries during this occasion.
Quasqui centennial was celebrated by role play “The Tale of the Lamp Leaders”. The program was ended with cultural programme.
