CM’s 3-day stay in Kangra district from Feb 12

Dharamshala: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will reach Baijnath at 10 am on February 12 for a three-day stay in district Kangra. During this tour, apart from Baijnath, he will also visit Kangra constituencies on February 13 and Indora on February 14.

Deputy Commissioner, Kangra, Rakesh Kumar Prajapati said that on the first day of his migration to district Kangra, the Chief Minister will inaugurate, do the Bhoomi Poojan and  lay the foundation stone for the works  of Rs 3767.89 lakh and development works worth Rs 837.95 lakh. Rakesh Kumar Prajapati said that on the first day, the Chief Minister will do a Bhoomi poojan of the improvement of the road at a cost of Rs 325.90 lakhs from Shitala to Shkri  at Shitla Chowk at 10:05 AM and will also lay a foundation stone of Nohra Chakol, a drinking water scheme to be built at a cost of Rs 391 lakh. After this, CM Jai ram Thakur will lay a foundation stone of government ITI to be built at a cost of Rs 952.25 lakh at 11:30 am in Sakdi. He will lay the foundation stone of the drinking water scheme, Dhanag, at a cost of Rs 688 lakh in Dhanag.

Chief Minister Jairam Thakur will address the public meeting at the mela  ground Baijnath at 1155 AM.

DC further said that after this, CM will dedicate the `Center of Excellence for Geriatric Care’ built at the cost of Rs 837.95 lakh at Ayurvedic College, Paprola.

On this first day of his visit to district the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of Tikkari-Sagoor, a drinking water scheme to be built at Tikkari Sagur at 3:50 pm and Rakkar-Majhreng, and the foundation stone of a drinking water scheme to be built at a cost of Rs 1107.74 lakh under 'Jal Jeevan Mission' at in Rakkar Mazharana.
