CME program on Glaucoma at Atal Regional Institute of Ophthalmology
The Glaucoma Unit of Atal Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO), Rohtak, organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Glaucoma. Dr. H.K. Aggarwal, Vice Chancellor of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, attended the program as the chief guest.
Rohtak, February 21, 2026: The Glaucoma Unit of Atal Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO), Rohtak, organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Glaucoma. Dr. H.K. Aggarwal, Vice Chancellor of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, attended the program as the chief guest.
The Vice Chancellor said that this event reaffirms Atal RIO, Rohtak's commitment to strengthening glaucoma care and promoting continuing medical education in ophthalmology.
Organizing Chairperson, Prof. Manisha Rathi, informed that faculty members, doctors, residents, and optometrists from Haryana Civil Medical Services participated enthusiastically in this academic program.
The CME was attended by Prof. J.C. Das, Dr. J.S. Nationally renowned faculty, including Dr. Bhalla, Dr. Deva, Dr. Dixit Soni, and Dr. Swarnali Sen, who delivered lectures on recent advances in the diagnosis, medical and surgical management, and evolving imaging techniques for glaucoma. Scientific sessions fostered meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange among participants.
Local Organizing Chairpersons Professor Manisha Rathi, Head of the Glaucoma Unit, and Dr. Sumit Sachdeva led the event with academic precision and organizational excellence. Organizing Secretaries Dr. Ruchi Dabas and Dr. Monica Dahiya coordinated the program. Director Dr. S.K. Singhal, Registrar Dr. Roop Singh, MS Dr. Kundan Mittal, Dean Dr. Ashok Chauhan, Dean Academic Dr. M.G. Vashisht, and others were present on the occasion.
