CME on cardiothoracic defects and 2nd CME & conference of North Chapter of Anatomists Society held

Ludhiana, October 12, 2019: Department of Anatomy organized CME on Cardiothoracic Defects and 2nd CME & Conference of North Chapter of Anatomists Society today at Auditorium of DMC College Campus.
The conference was inaugurated by Secretary Sh Prem Kumar Gupta, who lauded the efforts of Department of Anatomy in organizing the conference and informed the house about tej cold storage facility for teaching and training of medical students and young doctors . Also present on the occasion were Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina extended a warm welcome on behalf of the institution , Medical Supdt Dr Sandeep Sharma and Assistant Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal were also present.
Organizing Chairperson-Dr Hitant Vohra extended warm welcome to the dignitaries, distinguished guest speakers and participating delegates. In her message, Dr Vohra said that the conference aims to bring together leading anatomists and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences.
Organizing Secretary- Dr Anu Sharma said that the scientific sessions held during the conference focused on advantages in the field of cardiothoracic congenital defects, research presentations and recognition of young achievers. She said that conference was also an occasion to felicitate senior anatomists of repute and former faculty members who headed Anatomy Department in DMCH.
Nearly 200 delegates from north India participated in the deliberations of the conference
