Ludhiana, March 21, 2014: On March 22, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) on “Acute Kidney Injury” is being held featuring seven talks by eminent national and international faculty, its epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention and importance of early and effective management.
The meeting coincides with the Silver Jubilee of hemodialysis in the Nephrology Department which has pioneered kidney care in Punjab and the Northern India since the 1960’s with many firsts including doing peritoneal dialysis, kidney biopsy, kidney transplantation and super specialty Nephrology training for the first time in Punjab.
The meeting invites doctors and nurses to register and improve care for patients with kidney diseases. The CME is endorsed by the International Society of Nephrology and approved by the Punjab Medical Council for 4 CME credit hours.
